I'm sorry, which question was that? Since all I saw was your sorry excuse of sarcasm.

And it's the Option key that you have to hold during the boot up process (it's call Google, learn it and love it).

I have nothing to offer for the discussion on hand. However, if I'm understanding this correctly, did ikari911 essentially reformat his drive, and thus lost everything on his Mac partition? If so, I impose this question: why install Vista, when Windows 7 is right around the corner?

ANYWAY, I did manage to switch back to the Mac OS thanks to Scsa's advice... and now I'm trying to figure out how to switch back to WINDOWS. And no, I did not reformat my computer, only the partitioned drive.

Unfortunately, I still have a laundry list of problems running Windows. Most importantly, it's not accepting headphone output - there's just a red light coming out of the headphone jack. Any ideas there?

If I'm not mistaken you have to press the Option key during bootup to be able to switch back and forth. As for the headphone jack, why not try installing an upgrade of bootcamp from one of the links above to see if it updates the drivers and run through windows update and see if there's a driver update because it does sound like a driver issue.
