I want to share my craze for her with you all!

It was a cold and boring Saturday morning. I decided to on the TV to see what's currently on air. My timing was perfect as it was right after some advertisement so a show is to be aired at that time. GUESS WHAT? I almost got a heart attack when I first heard 'oversoul' when they air Shaman King (at that time I had no idea about Shaman King). I laughed at myself and at that instant I know I'm a fan of this singer. Later I bought Shaman King CD box and really liked Kyoyama Anna's seiyuu. I realized the seiyuu is the singer itself. So I googled it and eventually discovered her name, Hayashibara Megumi.

Now I really am proud of myself. I don't really watch a lot of different animes but I can easily recognize her voice. Like I don't watch slayers but when i tried to watch it on youtube I knew that Lina Inverse's seiyuu is her. She even gave voice to Bulbasaur, Pidgeotto and Goldeen (lolx this one really was unexpected). It's been 3 years since I'm a fan of her and still is.

I like her too!! I admit I don't really follow her on anime but music-wise, I'm always there! And I'm like you, first got to know her through Shaman King's songs. But mine was Northern Lights (LOVE it till today).

gomen kinda busy these days. Same here, I too like Northern Lights until today. I even put the song on the top of my playlist!

I first noticed her when I listened her song which titled 'Don't be Discouraged' and I started to like her more when I listened 'Northern Lights' and ' Trust You' . and when I heard her voices in Detective Conan as Haibara Ai/Miyano Shiho .
hahaha . she has a really nice voice ...

Too bad she's not active with new songs nowadays. If I can wish for one thing it'd be expecting a new hit song from her!

Ohh ohh!! Me too, self-proclaimed Megumi Hayashibara fan!! I've yet to really watch any of the anime's she's done like Shaman King and Slayers, but I really love her songs. Even went out and got myself the Slayers Best Collection just to hear the songs.

She and Masami Okui make a perfect duet together!!

I never knew she was the voice for Faye in Cowboy Bebop. It sounds waaaaayyy too different from Ayanami Rei's. She's so awesome!!

huge fan of hers, it is a total bummer that shes not active around the anime/music industry. she needs to make an appearance with Masami Okui at the animelo summer live!? they would totally steal the whole show!

It's a shame she doesn't make any more international shows.
First knew her for Saber marinotte J's opening, Succesful mission, since here Slayers opening was translated TwT. Loved her since that time. I have yet to watch Slayers in Japanese, her impersonation of Lina is great, I have a recording of her chanting Dragon Slave in my mp3 XD
