Gotta agree, this chapter was just fuuuuull of surprises. Oh and Hanzo and Danzo? Seriously? Now that is what I call creative naming.

And Jiraiya was gone for three years, in the middle of a war between three major Ninja countries? And none of Konoha thought that strange and tried to bring him back? I don't want to sound like a wise-ass but the plot-holes sure are getting bigger and more frequent. Maybe Kishimoto should put Naruto on hiatus for a few weeks and get the storyline straightened out so that he can bring Naruto to a worthy end.

Anyway, I'm not quite sure if this flashback is over yet but I don't think so. I'm betting that we will get to see the founding of Akatsuki next. Maybe that's going to be more interesting.

Nah he's not gone .He already told Tsunade and Orochimaru he would stay.

Sure he told them he'd stay but would they seriously have left him there knowing that he wouldn't return for three years? He was one of Konoha's strongest ninja and they just let him stay in enemy land for three years during a major war? Without trying to get him to return? I find that hard to believe. I wouldn't let one of my top ninja run around in some country, training some orphans during a time of war where I needed him to protect his own people. I would have understood if he took them to Konoha but this doesn't make any sense to me.

I would of thought Jiraiya would travel between homes >_>;
I guess that was'nt the case. who knows, maybe he sent some frogs to do some errands for him to notify his Konoha buddies ^^;?
