Plot Summary: During the winter, Yuichi was hospitalized due to hepatitis. Randomly he would try to escape from the hospital but would get beat up by the nurse. One day, he happened to meet Rika, a girl of his age, in the next building. He was fascinated by her beauty, but she was very selfish girl. Although she led him by the nose, he began to be attracted by her. However, when Rika told him about her illness, he knew why she acted so selfish; she didn't have long to live.

Personal note/opinion: A short but sweet love story, Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora may only span six episodes, but it will definitely leave you wanting more.

Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora is an absolute most watch for romance fans.

Plot Summary: Thirty-three years ago, an alien force known as the "JAM" invaded Earth through a dimensional portal over Antarctica. Earth's forces managed to drive the JAM away to a distant planet designated as "Fairy." While majority of Earth's population is unaware of the JAM's presence, the war continues on Fairy. Sentou Yousei Yukikaze chronicles the life of Rei Fukai, an SAF (Special Air Force) pilot assigned to pilot "Yukikaze" - an advanced reconnaisance fighter plane equipped with a near-sentient A.I. that detects the presence of the JAM within its path.

Personal note/opinion: When I first picked up Yukikaze from a friend, I didn't think it was an anime for me.The military themed series (with the aception of gundam and macross) just wasn't what I was into but after watching the first episode I was totally hooked.

Yukikaze is wonderful piece of work that is definitely worth buying

Plot Summary: (Cyber12.com) An aeon has passed since human beings were driven from the Earth. After much searching for a place to live in peace, they finally discovered the Land of the Covenant. It was a desolate planet; its surface covered by a substance similar to coral, and a hitherto unknown ion called Traper filled the air. They settled upon this planet, and built huge towers in order to use Traver effectively. Under these towers, countries were established, and the United States of the Towers was founded to unify them.

Several hundreds years have passed since then. Renton is a boy who lives with his grandfather in the Tower Country Belforest. He has one major complaint about his life. As the son of the great hero Adrock, who saved the world from the disaster known as the Summer of Love at the cost of his own life, Renton shoulders a burden trying to live up to this name. Furthermore, his grandfather is a mechanic and expects Renton to take over the family business.

His only mental escape is Liff, a sport where one glides through the Traver. Renton yearns to follow in the footsteps of Holland, a charismatic Liff Rider, and to travel around gliding like him, believing that a big wave of change will come to him some day.

Hey, I hope Im not interupting anything but Im looking for an anime

I want an anime about a love story, not that much action (nothing like gundam or the such)

Maybe a high school romance or something

If it helps, Da Capo is my favorite anime

Edit: Also, I wouldnt mind crying. I read in this thread about Toradora? Yay/Nay? Anything else?

If he casts magic, he moves one step closer to being a monster. If he doesn't, he will be killed. Among the harsh battles, he will face a sin he committed in the past.

Personal note/opinion: This ova series is right up next to Darker than Black in my anime list of loves.
At first glance i really didn't think it was going to be anything special, just another one of those average anime series, but i was wrong.
Strait Jacket really had me fully interested for the short 78 minutes that it lasted and the only flaw i can see is that it wasn't longer.
Being only 3 episodes long, it really left me with some unanswered thought, but it was definitely worth the watch, none-the-less.

Perfect, short, series for fans of action and gore :D

Besides Toradora, I can name two animes: School Days and School Rumble. The first one is love story while the second one is more comedy. And there is always the 80s classic, and personal favourite - Kimagure Orange Road; and also Maison Ikkoku. Both great stories by Rumiko Takahashi, who has done some really good stories that are both romantic and funny.

I can also take some time to recommend some of my favourite anime series.

Genre- drama and romance

its alot better than any other romance anime, just watch and find it out your self, why there is reason to watch it, but be warned if you hate the narrative type anime dont watch it you might find it boring but if you love it go ahead and watch it, it will make you cry.
